1979New York state large school champions – undefeated

“The 1979 Tigers, to this day considered by many hereabouts the all-time best, outscored opponents by 413-26 and allowed an unimaginable 1,108 yards in nine games. That squad started and finished top-ranked.” – Kevin Stevens – Binghamton Press

1989 – New York state large school champions – undefeated

“The 1989 team went 11-0, as seasons then extended to regional play following Section 4 championships. Those Tigers averaged 42 points per game and rushed for 3,685 yards, 525 in a 60-7 thumping of Buffalo’s Bishop Timon.” – Kevin Stevens – Binghamton Press
